Twists and Turns
All said and done; Indian forces at the border, Police forces all become a peace keeping group as the Union Government does not have a vice like grip to curtail terrorism happening quite frequently. Twin terror attack crippled our stand on Pakistan and Kathua Police station, Pakistan proved a point that they are ready for peace at any time and look for our heads all the time. The second attack was on a army camp that made our position more precarious. Even though we could kill the terrorist in the counter attack it was too late. This has happened 72 hours before the showdown between Indian PM and Nawaz Sharief.
LOC has become line of no control and the peace talks did not serve any purpose and attack is the best form of defence. What the Home Minister is doing when proxy war is taking heavy toll of our internal security. Both PM and Defence Ministers are conspicuous by their absence even to issue a statement against unruly Pakistan Army. Home Minister is just good enough to look into the matter and such an attitude is giving scope for Pakistan to go all out and attack us at the border. In the wake of uncalled attack on Indian force it is better to stop peace talk and issue a stiff warning saying that such terror attacks will end in a war in the end. Terrorists came in Army Uniform and cause damage. India's concerns are too many but nothing concrete done to make the matter move in the right direction. Terrorists could escape only to be caught later. Such terror attacks make us feel that whether a Government exists or not. Twists and turns in terror attack are giving us testing time.
