Modi mania is not only upsetting the balance of the ruling Congress Government but also the seniors in the BJP for some time.  Modi rides like a King of the Lord and he is doing it most successful.  Whether it is a Chief Minister Post, or the Chief of BJP election campaign or the anointment of PM from the BJP party.  He came, saw and conquered all over the country with his youth like dynamism, good governance and able administration, which the Congress lack for the last 9 years and that leads to lots of problem, within and outside the country.  We are under the threat of both Pakistan and China and we need a courageous Prime Minister like Modi to face fire with fire.  We have seen these qualities in  V.K. Krishna Menon and later with some extent with Indira Gandhi.  After that we all saw sober and soft approach from all the PMs and that allows the enemy to come inside our territory and causing intrusion in the process.  Modi can manage things well, implicate the corrupt Politicians and the stop invasion inside India with his acumen and the will to work wonders.  With economy hoping to make a turn around, we can expect Modi to become PM and do a world of good to the country.  Adamant Advani or the greedy Congress could not stop this wonderful soul occupying the PMs chair after the General Elections 2014. Lal Krishna Advani has have now become a non-entity in National Politics as he is not able to give support to his own party and how we can expect him go along with coalition partners if he projected to the highest post.  It is only time for Narendra Modi to become next Prime Minister of India crossing all the hurdles at ease.

Serving to save Society from Environmental problems

Old scooters and cars are parked on the main parking lot and occupy the slot as well create a ruckus that may lead to pollution and  spread virus in the society. It is high time society secretaries issue notices to the owners of the vehicles and withing a reasonable time the space is to be cleared of all debris or else Society will take possession of the vehicles and sell them in Automobile market for a throw away price as a scrap.  Even after specified time nothing is done the vehicle owners should be penalised and should be charged for lifting the old vehicle in as is where condition without further notice and time limit to the owner  Housing Societies in Navi Mumbai seems to be accumulative waste in different forms in the Housing complex. We can find old cycles and old scooters parked on the prime parking place taking away beauty of the building at the entrance and provide base for accumulation of debris left out after the flat/building repair work. It is against the rules and take away the valuable space, prove as health hazard and endanger the environment as well. Building authorities should pay heed to the fact. Some of the housing societies have take the initiative in making the owners to shift their unused vehicles to an open space or took the bold step of removing them and parking it outside in an open ground.  Even Police stations in Vashi and other places have a fleet of cars and two wheelers have unclaimed/ceased vehicles at their disposal and kept in a yard for unduly longer period, thus making them obsolete.  Even their resale value diminishes because of depreciation.

Another important issue is E-Waste, which our present generation is facing. It is also called hazardous waste. Electronics waste includes all the electronic items that are discarded by their owners like secondary computers, refrigerators mobile phones, television sets etc. Dumping of toxic waste is hazardous to environment as well, as human health. Recycling or reusing it, is the best method to get rid off E-Waste and we can get good quality stuff at cheaper rates. It can provide the electronic items to the underprivileged at low cost. Some materials used in electronic items can be used in new products as well. The main problem of our tech-savvy youth is careless and use and throw attitude. As we can never stay away from phone, we keep on texting and calling when it is kept for charging. This can damage the battery and we end up throwing it. This adds to the waste and battery disposal is an expensive task. With the evolving lifestyle we are heavily dependent on the technology. Being a little careful will help us to save money as we can use our electronics for a longer period of time. And instead of buying new products every time we can repair them. Recycled products are available at cheaper rates. As an Individual I always ensure that I use rechargeable batteries and my used electronic only end up with authorised recycling vendors and not the neighbourhood scrap dealer. We must play our part right and then only we can save our mother earth from dying under the weight of the waste products. It is time to act fast.  NMMC should also take lead to dispose old vehicles standing on the streets for a long time occupying valuable space and posing environmental problems as no one is dusting these unwanted vehicles. It is time to avoid parking problems on the road as well in Housing societies in and around Navi Mumbai and care should be taken for early disposal of these vehicles in a proper way without causing any environmental problems.

FINAL CALL

SENIOR CRICKETERS SHOULD NOT STAND LIKE STUMBLING BLOCK

Having connected to the game for the last 50 years, I feel that it is better to quit when you are in peak form rather than hanging the boot when the selectors set a deadline for a player to call it a day.  Pen is mightier than bat in making these cricketers to quit at the right time rather prolonging their career for an unduly long time. Having in touch with the game, I took it on my hand to promote upcoming players from 1960 and then tried my best to kick some players out with my crisp and critical comments. It is a great experience to promote Sriniwas Venkatraghavan hailing from Chennai, then Manoj Prabhkar, my neighbour in Ghaziabad and Siddhu, the stroke less wonder to Sixer Siddhu in my list of players. But the present day cricketers are trying to push for an unduly longer duration, thus preventing the entry of some upcoming youngsters.  Sourav Ganguly got the sack after Greg Chappell opened up the Pandora's Box, Rahul Dravid opted out after his open gate batting down under, which took the stumps for a walk and then Mr. Dependable Laxman, quitting the game when he was smelling rat inside BCCI cupboard.  Indian Cricketer should learn to quit the game at the right time just like the Australian Cricketers rather than standing like a stumbling block.

INDIA  A  IN DISARRAY

All said done; the hype, hoopla and hysteria of Indian Cricketers doing well against lower ranked sides came to a naught as the India side lost a 3 match series after being one up in the series.  Team captain Yuveraj Singh was praised for his century in the first match.  But he is not a captaincy material and just included to give him chance to make a comeback into the Indian side.  Players of promise like Badrinath is not getting such a chance to show his worth in any form of the game, whereas tested players get chances despite being failures again and again.  When Yuveraj got a hundred against an ordinary attack the press had gone Ga Ga.  In the end team lost two matches in a row, one by 55 runs and the third and the decider by 45 runs.  This is not a good sign for a team, which perform well only at home and fail miserably when they cross Indian seas. Thus it was a lesson for the selectors, the team coach and the captain not to be complacent after making a winning start. As a matter of fact, the bowling department of the team was very weak and batsmen like Carter and Kirk Edwards took advantage of a poor attack.  A captain has to imbibe many qualities to become a leader.  He has to have the nerve of a gambler, the patience of a saint and the mind of a psychiatrist and Yuveraj Singh is just a beginner as far as captaincy is concerned.  Thus India A suffered a rare series defeat as West Indies rode on Kirk Edwards run riot in the deciding game. Edwards hit a run a ball 104 and other front line batsmen supported him very well.  Whereas in Indian Team, Yuveraj Singh played well in patches but to no avail. Now after losing he complained for not building partnerships.  As a captain he should lead from the front and build partnerships and not just complaint as he scored some runs.  Had Yuveraj hit a purple patch with big hundred in the decider, India A team would have benefited.  But for Unadkat, we do not have a strike bowler to curtail the scoring to an achievable level.  In the last two encounters India A bowlers gave plenty of runs and when they batted the pressure was on and they succumbed to the better pace attack of Caribbean fast bowlers.  India A batsmen showed the old weakness of chasing the ball from Bangalore to Barbados and paid heavy price for the same.  Instead of just looking for ratings, Indian players should play positive cricket and work hard on bowling and fielding before issuing statements to press.  After winning the first game there were self praise from Yuveraj and the Coach Lalchand Rajput wanted to win the series in a convincing way.  In the end West Indies won the vital two games by a big margin and spoiled the India A team party and the captain lost out in the race for supremacy even in our backyard. India A teas was in total disarray.

The ongoing Champions League  fever seems to be gripping a lot of youngsters from the satellite city these days to play the game from the grass root level.  With the schools in the city are going to be closed for Diwali vacations, children are making the best of the free time that is available with them.  "Standard" C.K. Cricket Coaching Centre beginning Oct 2nd ( Gandhi Jayanthi Day) at the Ground opposite Millennium Towers Sanpada in Sector 9.  The coaching starts at 7.30 AM and for the next three hours, Children enjoy playing the game and in the process learn finer points of the great game of cricket on all days of the week. While the boys thoroughly enjoy themselves playing the gentleman's game of cricket for the onlookers too it is a pleasant sight to see the enthusiasm and passion which the young lads feel towards the game.  Each ward is getting a chance to bat, bowl and field as well as develop a great team spirit too.  Sanpada resident Subramaniam C.K., who is in charge of the practice session for the last one year feels such a strenuous camp is conducted in Sanpada for the first time. C.K. Subramaniam feels that there is lot of talent available in Navi Mumbai, but there are less number of coaching centres.  Even now cricket enthusiasts from the city, needs to go to Mumbai and play in Cross/Azad Maidans grounds to prune up their talent in a team game like cricket. In Navi Mumbai, we come across DY Patel Academy and Navi Mumbai Sports Association (NMSA) are providing coaching, says 62 year old C.K. Subramaniam, who is in the cricketing field since the age of 12.  So for the last 50 years, the retired SyndicateBank official is on the field under different capacity as a player, Umpire and now a Cricket coach and still hitting the headlines all the time.  The boys seem to be having a really good time and he is getting assistance from Vignesh Subramaniam, an ex-player from MCA to get boost to the talent of the youngsters.  C.K. Subramaniam gets assistance from well wishers, getting good quality practice balls, costly bats and other equipments to play the game in the best way possible.  It is for the first time ever that the wards gets the experience of playing with season balls.  Since it is IPL time, the young cricketers  try to put practice, whatever they see during the matches previous night.  The parents are also happy to see their wards playing the game so professionally under the watchful eyes of an experience coach.  Close catching, slip catching and high catching are all taught in a very systematic manner so that the wards can make an attempt  to play the game with much needed toughness.  Fielding occupies the top spot in this coaching camp and we see some fantastic catches and acrobatic fielding in the outfield.  The wards are made tough to become professionals in the available time adds C.K. Subramaniam.

Very few will know that C.K.S as he is loving called has named his coaching camp as "Standard" C.K. Cricket Coaching Camp in the memory of the famous Indian cricketer CK (SIXER) Nayudu.  So the kids get to know about the  nuances of cricket at this famous coaching centre at Sanpada.

C.K. Subramaniam of Sanpada-Views have values

TV personality C.K. Subramaniam of Sanpada

At 10.45 PM on 16th Sept- Times news-  I had the opportunity to talk to Arnab Goswami about the rising vegetable prices. Arnab Goswami felt sorry for keeping me wait for a very long time. " C.K. Subramaniam retired Bank officer from Navi Mumbai speaking and the contents of my speech is as follows:-
"There is steep increase in vegetable prices for sometime now. Usually, the vegetable prices come down drastically during monsoon season. But this time round the prices are soaring and the common man will be wondering how to make up for the sudden spurt. The Dearness allowance is increased marginally and at the same time the soaring prices of vegetables is a cause of worry. Housewives are hard pressed to meet the both the ends and provide the best food items to their children. If the same condition persist for some more time then the situation will go from bad to worse. "
Thank you Very much C.K. Subramaniam for your views Arnab signed off.

EXISTENCE OF GOD

The various forms and ceremonies, prayers, pilgrimages and holy books are the preparations which take of the impurities of the soul.  When the latter is cleansed, it will naturally want to get to the mine of purity - God Himself.  Every religion insists on people having faith.  No doubt, blind belief is not advocated but on deep analysis, one can find a very great truth behind it.

The mercy of God is eternal and unchangeable, but how then can we reckon with the difference among humanity? The explanation offered is that the present life depends on the acts carried out previously.  So, for a purposeful life, we are asked to carry out pious deeds now to ensure that our future shall be smooth and prosperous

Man has been provided with three gifts; a body, the desire to be free and a noble soul. Using them, he has to reach the goal.  From Whom all beings are projected, in Whom all life and unto Whom all return, can be called God.  The concept of God is a fundamental element in the human constitution.  Notwithstanding the differences and controversies existing among various sects, there are several grounds of unitz.  Almost all agree on the Existence of God... who creates, sustains and destroys.  Second, of the soul and its re-appearance and third, of the universe.  Our scriptures state that every duty is hold and devotion to it is the highest form of worship of God. Faith in themselves was the motive power which pushed our ancestors forward in the march of civilisation. These are some of the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

Shastri's soft corner

Ravi Shastri is trying for a higher post in BCCI as he praise Board members for nothing. He is trying step out of the crease when he was playing and played Chapati shot most of the time.  And now he is trying to jumps out to drive to please the Board members The man who once hit six sixes in an over was at his slamming best while delivering the 5th Dilip Sardesai Memorial Lecture to a distinguished audience at the Bombay Gymkhana.  During playing days he was a slow starter in International matches and that made others to go for runs and sacrifice their wickets for the sake of the team whereas Shastri was just a pusher and plodder.  So, the Board game continues and the members of the Board are in a fix and the spot fixing charges and Sachin Tendulkar's extended stay in the team upset the balance of the team.  Just to make him pleased we avoided a hostile series against Steyn and Co of South Africa and play against a weak West Indies side and that too at our backyard.  How Sharad Pawar faltered in the Lalit Modi IPL scandal is now an open secret and still Shastri is showering praise on Sharad Pawar.  The former all-rounder, who is now also a member of the IPL governing council, named former BCCI chief Shashank Manohar as the Best in BCCI. Again, N Srinivasan is on soup after his son-in-law caught by MumbaiPolice for fixing is also a good soul for Shastri.  Shastri defended present head N Srinivasan too blindly.  If Srinivasan is a genuine sports lover he ought to have quit the post of President till the inquiry is over.  Thus Shastri is playing second fiddle to Srinivasan. Shasti is in no way to comment about umpire Decision Review System (DRS) as he is not an International Umpire.   The DRS was not giving the chance of survival while batting and in bowling we were not getting dubious decisions to cheat the opposition at home. DRS has taken the confidence of all the nine countries playing test cricket and the umpires.  Only Shastri as a spokesperson of BCCI is having problems with UDRS.  Thus, Ravi Shastri should read in between lines of the laws of cricket  to come to a conclusion rather than just rebutting Decision Review System. Shastri is totally biased there is no doubt it.
