IBL cannot come near IPL

With so much hype, hoopla and hysteria about IPL, no one can match the extravaganza.  Saina Nehwal can boast upon IPL as an equal to IPL but in reality it is of no match the big bash.  IPL matches are well organised and each of the match results were forgone one as the players were just paid the participation fees to fix matches in a team game like cricket.  This they did for 6 seasons in succession and never caught in the process till the last IPL.  IBL in the first two matches itself the stadiums were empty and the there was not much of crowd in smaller stadiums and there was no fanfare with big names in the game.  Whereas in Cricket there were big shots in all the teams and the matches went day and night.  Even after the matches night parties assumed greater importance than the matches.  Comparing all this IBL was a poor cousin for the gret game of Indian Premiere League. Saina Nehawal can be elated after an unbeaten run that helped Hyderabad Hotshots lift the inaugural Indian Badminton League trophy. She can just expect that the USD one million event to become as big as cricket's IPL in the coming years.  The popularity will come down still down in the coming years and it may be even difficult to run the show in the ensuing years. There are no big sponsors like the one in cricket, who were ready to throw crores of rupees and make Million dollars in the bargain in IPL. Despite IPL getting a bad name in the sporting circle people still compare everything to IPL cricket shows how the game is promoted blindly in India. It is indeed shame to compare  With cheer girls and strategic time out and color attire all brought name and fame to the game. But the Standard of the game went down very badly as the Indian batsmen were getting out easily on overseas tour very easily and Team India was losing five day games with four days.  Indian Badminton should not suffer the same fate like cricket.
