As a freelance writer for the last forty two years (oldest among the
letter writers) I really enjoyed all HT initiatives and loved to be
part of "celebrating Change makers of Mumbai" -HT for Mumbai Awards
2013 at Hotel Four Season on 22nd Nov 2013. It was thrilling
experience to be part of Mumbai Project Scheme- Mumbai First Scheme
and other initiatives. I love to be part of HT for my life life time.
The discussion after the Prize distribution was interesting.
However, few from the audience should have been given a chance to
speak and not to jury to speak again for the second time. As regular
reader and subscriber of HT for the last 8 years in Mumbai and before
than in Delhi as well, HT is trying hard to bring people's problems in
a focused manner. Sunday HT carries Your Space, in which you can air
your views (this week's Open Space issue)
on problems faced by common man and I am part of it and won Reader of
the Week award in my name as well as my wife Jayanthy Subramaniam's
name. Keep up the tempo and do a world to the society. Kudos for all
the HT initiative and I would like to be part of it till my death.
Already I am doing wonderfully well for Navi Mumbai with my crisp
writing changed several wrong doings by NMMC and continue to work in
this direction.
