Good news for Team India
As in the past we feel happy when a star player is not touring India. As we all know Indian favourable pitch conditions, lopsided crowd support and home umpires all spoil the show in India during one day and T-20 Games. Captain Michael Clarke was Tuesday ruled out of Australia's one-day tour of India this month with his long-standing back problem needing further treatment. The star batsman was picked in the initial 14-man squad last month but the injury has failed to show as much progress as expected, with George Bailey assuming responsibilities as skipper. Australia are due to play a seven-game series in India, which will be coached by Steve Rixon. South Australia's Callum Ferguson has been called up to replace Clarke. Add to all that now even captain is missing and the Indian fans are cheered up not by the performance of the Home team but in the absence of a key player. In the past we felt happy when "Shane Bond is not touring India" or Dale Steyn not touring India. Why we are worried about the opposition all the time instead of looking at our strong point. We have to play according to our strength and not look at the weakness of the oppostion. We are scared of defeat even in a home series Australians will be put to test with tailor made wickets, shouting bad words by the crowd and a partial umpiring standard up to the third umpire. Winning matches in India is not so easy under all these circumstances and it is a good news for team India before a being bowled in the series.
